LABORTECH has successfully commissioned the state-of-the-art electromechanical testing machine CREEPTest 6.100.C5DL in a floor-standing version, designed for quasi-dynamic cyclic testing, long-term creep tests and fatigue tests such as LCF and TMF.
This robust four-column frame stands out for its high stiffness, durability and alignment accuracy, ensuring maximum reliability during long-term tests lasting up to 10,000 hours. The machine’s design fully complies with international standards such as EN ISO 204, ASTM E292, ASTM E139, ASTM E606, ISO 12106, ASTM E23608, ASTM E1012 and others.
The system is equipped with an integrated low-cycle actuator with a precise AC servodrive, operating backlash-free, with minimal noise and maintenance-free performance. It enables cyclic tests in tension–compression mode with load reversal through zero without deformation artifacts and offers the possibility to perform creep tests as well as combined creep + fatigue tests, including strain-controlled runs up to fracture. Thanks to the three-zone high-temperature furnace, testing can be carried out at temperatures up to 1200 °C, while the homogeneous temperature field ensures highly accurate results even during long-term tests.
The installation also includes a high-temperature axial extensometer for precise strain measurement according to ASTM E83 and ISO 9513, an integrated overload protection system, preparation for UPS backup, a cooling system, and the CEDEROD 100 alignment fixture for perfect coaxiality of specimens in compliance with ASTM E1012.
With its modular concept and intelligent control electronics featuring a high sampling rate, the CREEPTest 6.100.C5DL is the ideal solution for demanding long-term material testing in the fields of energy, metallurgy and advanced research. This project is yet another proof that LABORTECH delivers cutting-edge and tailor-made solutions even for the most challenging applications.
