VSTest industrial balancing machines

Now something from balancing theory

Rotating and moving parts in an engine cause vibrations in the unit. These vibrations are caused by either rotating centrifugal force in the case of rotating parts or inertia in the case of sliding materials. Dynamic balancing of the engine is achieved by minimizing these materials and by using a counterweight. A better method of balancing the crankshaft is to use a so-called balancing shaft. In the case of dynamic balancing we try to eliminate additional torque effects. For balancing it is necessary to have a special balancing machine. Balancing is performed with at least two runs of the machine.

Each rotating body has an imbalance. In practice, the weight axis on which it moves never coincides with the axis of rotation. Therefore, great emphasis is placed on the balance of each rotating body. The size of the imbalance of a rotating body depends on many factors, both in terms of the manufacturing as well as assembly process. An imbalanced rotating body causes an imbalance of forces and dynamic noise, which may be dangerous to humans and the environment. Balancing of modern machines that operate at high speeds must meet the highest requirements of accuracy. It is generally valid for dynamic balancing that a rotating body can be balanced on one or two axial planes. For many bodies e.g. wheels, clutches, fans etc. a single plane is sufficient. Changes to the weight distribution on the rotor can be achieved by adding or removing material at a given radius. If the ideal distribution of mass is achieved then the rotating body is balanced.

The tolerance and procedures for balancing and vibration machines are contained in technical regulations and standards (e.g. DIN ISO 1940-1 to DIN ISO10816-3).

Vertical BALANCING MACHINES

Vertikální vyvaž. strojVSTest vertical balancing machines are designed for dynamic balancing of rotors in the vertical direction of the axis of rotation. Due to our large portfolio of products we offer vertical balancing machines for different sizes and weights of balanced pieces. Rotors can be balanced on these machines, without shafts, turbines, brake discs, or clutch plates etc., which are mounted on the spindle of the balancer. This spindle is completed with a clamping device adapted to the given piece to be balanced. These machines can be supplemented by various imbalance corrections such as drilling, milling, grinding, riveting etc. The new V-Test12 electronic measurement device is used in conjunction with the balancing software BalancingTest to determine the size of the imbalance on the given angle. All of our machines are fitted with touch screen LCD monitors.

With these machines it is possible to use gimbals, belts or their own propulsion. The spindle is completed with a clamping device adapted to the given piece to be balanced. V-Test 12 balancing systems

Vyvaž softwareThis new software allows you to evaluate the size and angle of imbalance. BALANCINGTest is designed not only for classic PC and LCD monitors but also for industrial systems that are controlled by touch screen LCD monitors. All of the measured results are stored in a central database. This database contains basic statistical methods and filters the results based on job number, date of testing, type of balanced piece etc. The BALANCINGTest software is destined for dynamic balancing in series.
