Hydraulic jaw 50 kN to 2000 kN
Range of application: Hydraulic jaws are suitable for all tests on flat and round specimens made of metal, or from a very solid non-metallic materials.
Functional principle: oil pressure is set on the source of hydraulic power in accordance with the required clamping pressure of the jaw. By separating and closing tensile strength for the entire duration of the test sequence is guaranteed constant clamping force. The control unit regulates the process of concluding separately for upper and lower jaw, the control is manual or automatic, in conjunction with a PC. As a source of hydraulic pump can be used electrically or pneumatically driven.
Systems: Generally used two systems:
- Unilateral hydraulic jaws are set to a thickness of the sample with a screw part (particularly suitable for asymmetric samples).
- Double hydraulic jaw is always closed to the symmetrical axis of tension. Therefore it is not necessary to control the thickness of the sample.
